In January 2026, SLTP partner Satpuda Foundation collaborated with UK based environmental artists John Dyer and Joanne Short to conduct art workshops for school children living around Pench Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra, spreading the message of conservation.
This initiative was part of John and Jo’s global project, Last Chance to Paint. Through conversations, live demonstrations, and by encouraging students to create their own artworks, the artists introduced themes of wildlife, forests, and water availability.
In addition, art materials were donated to participating schools to foster creativity beyond the workshops, and selected student artworks will be featured in the project’s global online gallery.

Congratulations and thank you to all the collaborators who made this possible : Last Chance to Paint Initiative, Born Free Foundation UK and Satpuda Foundation.
